Mom and Drugs question.?

Question by Adele: Mom and Drugs question.?
My mom need these pills from her doctor but she can’t afford them, they cost a lot of money. My moms friend gets a lot of pills that he doesn’t need so he gives the ones my mom needs to her, though they are his prescription.
If they are exactly the same thing, is it ok? or is my mom doing illegal drugs?
She had a problem with being a drug dealer and has been to rehab- but it this time ok?

I just snuck down stairs to find out what her friend just gave her a few minutes ago and it is his prescription pot!
I am crying now because she was clean for years. She celebrated her clean birthdays and now that’s all over.
She has no job- we are living off a huge loan on the house and my child welfare checks.
We are basically poor.
Except we are lucky enough to be able to afford cable/internet.

Hello, This has nothing to do with your moms past. I would say that this is very wrong, both morally and legally. She and this friend can get into a a lot of trouble, depending on what the medication is. If you don’t mind me asking, what medication and why is she taking it? If she really does need them, I would tell her to invest in minimum health insurance. If she already has that and they will not cover her pills, then she needs to ask for a generic or different brand. If you give me the medication name, I will be happy to write some names of generic pills for you. Good Luck!

EDIT: Wow, this really not okay, I would really encourage your Mom to get some help. If she refuses, as hard as it might be, tell her that you will call the police to come and get her to test her. This will either scare her into going to get help mor you are going to have to go through with your promise. I had to do the same with my Uncle, but it worked. Also, I would suggest stealing wat she gets and either flushing down the toilet or burn it, which is really a last resort. I also suggest talking to your school consiler, they will be able to help you and give you sound advice on what to do with you Mom and give you some rehab phamphlets. If you need to talk to anyone, at anytime, Please, E-mail me and I will try to help you the best I can. Sometimes it is easest to talk to a stranger,a nd I am here. Good Luck,
Shannon
