Okay when I make the draw the similarities between homosexuals and pedophiles, homosexuals get highly offended and then focus on irrelevant truths to try and derail my argument. So if your one of those people dont bother answering because I want direct answers not cheap word play to evade the real question.

If homosexual unions should be legal because one cant help who they are attracted too then, what would or should stop pedophiles from comming out of the closet with there perverted attractions considering that the two both CONSENT, i say again considering that they both CONSENT. There was a case a while back fo this Jr high school teacher, a hot blonde, sleeping with one of her 13 year old students…. then boy OBVIOUSLY wanted to do it, you can prove empirically that he did, so why should relationships like this be illegal??? if you say hes not a “legal” adult then thats lame… they could repeal that just as homosexuals are repealing gay marriage?!?!??! think about it, its just as perverted as homosexuality and the grounds for supporting homosexuality can be applied to cases like this, so I want to know how homosexuals argue against it, without using the same line of ” ahh its abuse” its not abuse if the kid consented to, like 90% of 13 or 14 year old boys would have had sex with their hot blonde 7th grade school teacher, and thats realistically speaking… to just use a the weak lame excuse of abuse doenst hold weight, and its just a fire escape. At the end of the day all Im simply saying that with homosexualy growing at an scary rate, it prepares society to accept other disorders on the same ground of reason as the afore mentions testomony…. Any disagreements?

Your logic is so flawed I don’t even know where to start…here it goes…

I have no idea how you are connecting in your mind gay marriage and pedophiles repealing age of consent laws. It simply won’t and can’t happen.

First, DO NOT make any connection between homosexuality and pedophilia. They are completely different and have nothing to do with each other.

Second, in all your examples one party is in a position of authority. Sure the boy may have wanted to, but the teacher could have also exploited their authority to elicit sex. It’s not sexual abuse of a child, it’s abuse of authority.

Third, your are missing the point of the idea of consent. A person under 18 may want to have sex with their teacher, but the average person under 18 does not have the developed mental capacity to fully comprehend the consequences of their actions. Therefore, they cannot legally consent to sex. Homosexual relationships are fine, because both parties are consenting adults…if it is with someone under 18, that is pedophilia and they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Fourth, sexual preference is not a choice! Pedophiles must simply learn to control their urges, because a child consenting to sex is not recognized by the law as consent…
