My husband is about to be paroled from High Desert State Prison in 2 weeks. Due to us having problems finding a halfway home/transitional home that would accept him, his case worker has taken the responsibility of getting him acce-ted into one for us. The problem we encountered over & over again, was that 90% of the halfway homes here in Las Vegas are “sober living homes,” (people who are recovering from an addiction,) while the other 10% are for sex offenders!! My husband doesn’t fit into either category, therefore; it was almost impossible to find one to accept him. I can’t find anyone who knows of, “The Gate” recovery home, where it is located, a phone #, or just little tid-bit of info on this place!!! Anything would be of great help & sincere appreciation!!! Please help!!!, his release date is june 4, 2006–12 days away!! Thank You to anyone who can give us any information they may know on this “Recovery Home/Transitional Home,” called, “The Gate!!!!” Please respond ASAP!!
