In Probation, Is the drug therapist evalution’s recomended treatment set in stone?
Question by somebody-nobody: In Probation, Is the drug therapist evalution’s recomended treatment set in stone?
I had seen a drug therapist and took an evaluation about a month before i went to court and was put on probation. she recomended that i do some sort of outpatient addiction thing but i really do not have enough time for this because its three days a week three hours a day for a couple months and im trying to hold and job and go to school. so i was wondering if i could reason with her or my probation officer to see if i could just see a depression/ addiction therapist instead of do a depression/addiction outpatient program, do you think that would be possible? how should i go about acheiving this?
also, would it be possible for me to get another drug evaluation that is more… reasonable (i honestly dont have an addiction problem… im on probation for poss. of marijuana {this is not an addiction that requires a friggin outpatient program at a rehab center}) because i have not seen my probation officer yet or turned in my drug evaluation yet. could i just get a new one and pretend i never did the old one?
im obviously asking a bunch of prosecution attorney’s or judges or probation officers themselves of whatever… you guys dont get it. fucking up my work and school schedule, just to spend an ass load of time and money doing a hard core rehab program when im not even addicted to anything just because i got caught with about 3 dollars worth of weed is NOT going to teach me a lesson and is NOT giving me a break. it is simply showing me how ridiculous our justice system is and how easy it is to get large numbers of people to believe that somethin….. you know what i dont even have time for this
