Question by MeaCulpa: are you a Drug addict that found a home in AA as opposed to NA?
Specifically did you never like alcohol but yet definitely an addict and now work the program in AA. I find AA a better but yet now approaching my 1 year anniversary still struggle with not fitting in when people refer to the physical allergy, the genetic disposition etc. Throughout my life I could always have a drink (of course I’m sober now) and leave it at that. I struggle with finding a home and bounce from program to program. Thanks for any insight!

AA and NA are both based on the same twelve step program, if you are not comfortable in either, perhaps you need to explore other programs, like maybe rehab.
