My husband is a cocaine addict who already wants to get himself treated. I was just wondering whether I could be there with him for even just a few of his counseling or therapy sessions. I just feel like he might respond to treatment better if he’s not always alone there with a bunch of strangers.

Yes, I’m sure there are drug rehabs who will allow family members to join in on counseling or therapy sessions. There are even some programs that encourage the spouse or other family members of the patient to undergo family counseling. This actually strengthens the benefits of the treatment program as well as binds the family members closer to each other.
