Question by Jesse H: Does anyone know if you can get a piece of the World Trade Center?
I know this is probably a really Difficult question to answer and it may offend you. To that I give you my deepest apology! I was at Ground Zero for two weeks in the Rescue-Recovery Effort after 9/11. There is alot to my story and I never took a piece from the Grounds. Six Years later I still struggle day to day as everyone else from that day does, I just wish that I had a piece to keep with me!

Thanks for helping. I can totally understand what you are saying. I don’t think there is a good answer for you, but I can understand your need. I first went there in November (couldn’t bring myself to do it sooner) and I took away a tiny pinch of dust as a reminder that nothing is forever and we should live each day to the fullest. It is in a silver box on my dresser. Maybe you will not be able to get a piece to take away with you, but know that you left part of you there – as we all did. And that part of you will remain there forever. Pax – C (a proud NYer)
