Is there any risk in kissing a meth addict?

Question by Chubber: Is there any risk in kissing a meth addict?
I’m dating a very nice guy who’s extremely sweet and caring. The only problem is, about 6 yrs ago, he was addicted to meth (BADLY), so much so that his teeth have fallen out since then. He’s been completely clean for a little over 3 years, been thru rehab, etc and he’s doing great. I do wonder, though, if I’m at any sort of risk when I kiss/perform oral sex on him. I’ve never touched meth (or any kind of drug, for that matter), and I don’t judge him for something that happened in his past. I just wonder if there’s any risk for disease when kissing/sharing bodily fluids with someone whose been on the drug (even if it was years ago). I mean besides the obvious std risk you run with anybody. I’m saying strictly meth-related. Or tooth decay.. can that make you sick?
