School SUCKS!

This is in response to a comment left by a youtube member Alamont69 says “I am senior in high school. This is why I REFUSE to do what MOST of my teachers say. My high school exspirence has been the worst 4 years of my life. To me school is all about destroying student’s individualality and own thoughts. To me its all about following what the school wants not what the student values. This is my opinon and why most of my teachers hate me and few do like me. and why I hate school so much” My responce is this video and : I too had 4 very bad years in highschool. I understand your need to be an individual. I have to say though, you are fighting against a tide that is only hurting yourself. School is mainly there to provide you with tools to succeed in life. Where school gives silly detentions for behavior issues, the world puts you in jail. School is a small testing ground. Your role is to find a way to survive there and still be unique in ways that do not distract others from learning. High School provides Tools For Life. •Of course Math, so your not taken advantage of, and pay bills •English to communicate intelligently •History to understand what has happened in the world and know how it effect today •Science to know the basics of how things work around you •Arts & Music to appreciate the good things in life •PhysEd to stay healthy But also, •How to communicate effectively •How to organize other people, speak out and effect change •How to communicate with authority •What …
