Question by that_girl: Is addiction a disease? Or do people choose to abuse drugs?
I’m 6 months clean and I’m confused? Some Dr.’s say this is a disease get help others say Iit’s all my choice. I struggle everyday. HELP!!!!

Both. It’s a disease… one that people choose to contract. You choose to start taking drugs, then the drugs take you over and you have to get help. In the end, it is best to never start.
