Why is it that people are still executed in America? Execution does little if anything to cut down on crime. A lot of countries in Europe don’t execute people and they can maintain order. Why does the law attempt to satisfy the blood-lusts of some people? I read a description of the execution procedure (written by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation). In that document, they said that after a person is executed, their body is removed “with dignity and care”. To me, that is the greatest hypocrisy. If American legislatures were concerned with treating people with dignity and care, then why would they be executing people in the first place? A lot of those death row prisoners did some evil things only because they were taught to do evil at a young age (by drug-abusing parents, other corrupt guardians, childhood trauma, etc).
All of us could just as easily be on death row. The reason why we aren’t is that all of us had good parents who taught us right and wrong (and we followed that). With a lot of those death-row prisoners, they never had any moral guidance from their parents (if they even had parents). It just isn’t just to kill those people.
Why should America do it if it’s not necessary? It looks like some of you people support executions because you enjoy seeing people die.
The majority of Americans don’t agree because the majority of Americans don’t know what it’s like to be in the footsteps of death row prisoners. If a person is raped multiple times during childhood, severely beaten, exposed to drugs, and given no parental guidance, then what do you expect? It’s no wonder that those people lash out against society because every aspect of society that they encountered in their early lives was evil.
dipshit (I’m not cursing at you, that’s what your sn is), is a person has an adrenaline rush, the last thing they will be thinking about are the various legal measures in their states.
