one reason for opposition to legalizing in US are all the groups against it, here are some: BCWNYAW–black crack whores of new york against weed TECRS–thugs and ex-convicts for a responsible society HTSAW–hollywood takes a stand against weed–these groups are also calling for limited use of alcohol and tobacco and supervised limited television watching for children
California will legalize recreational use this November… Hopefully. It could be the first ripple in the wave of freedom, lame I know, but whatever
I dunno if it’s close to legalization up here in Canada for the simple fact that nobody’s talking about it. Here in Montreal, for example, nobody could care less if you smoke. Just don’t do it on the street or in front of a cop.

The reason they’re after marijuana-user is because marijuana is the most used “drug” of them all. And why? Because it is safer, relaxing and doesn’t not ruin the human body like alcohol and the poisons in the cigarettes you buy…
That’s my point… more people use it because they realize that scientist have proven it safer than first predicted.
Why don’t they chase heroin- or cocaine-users? They are the ones killing themselves and making themselves aggressive.

are you sure its not decriminalized..cause i got caught with 5 grams and got a 60 dollar ticket and nothing went on my record. no court either( unless i wanted to ghit it). so its pretty much decriminilized cause now its an offence not a crime
