M to help curb drugs
The federal government is giving Ohio $ 5 million to combat a problem that kills four Ohioans every day — prescription and opiate drug abuse. The money will be distributed through 50 county alcohol, drug-addiction and mental-health services boards statewide and will be used to treat an estimated 3,000 people.

Service to help drink and drug abusers
ACCESS, a new service for young people with alcohol and drug abuse problems is launched today. The service, for 18 to 25-year-olds, follows expert research by the Oldham Drug Alcohol Action Team.
