Want to know how long cocaine in small amounts, talking less than half a gram, will stay in a mother’s breastmilk? Please list a reliable source.
No, it’s actually not for me, I am trying to find reliable information to confront an idiot friend of mine who wants to start doing drugs again after being pregnant…stupid should just wait until done breastfeeding…thanks for the info though.

Effects on breastfeeding

A mother who continues to use cocaine should not breastfeed her child. (2, 11)

Cocaine can remain in breast milk for more than 48 hours after a mother’s last use. (4, 14) Infants breastfed by mothers using cocaine may suffer seizures and extreme irritability when they consume cocaine through their mother’s breast milk. (7)
