How to use illegal filename characters in Windows xp?
Question by Heik: How to use illegal filename characters in Windows xp?
I’d like to use slash and other illegal filename characters when naming my files (for example, AC/DC). So how can I use them if it’s even possible and will it do anything bad to the files?

Illegal characters are just that – illegal. They aren’t allowed to be used in path names or file names. (While I’m not sure, I think that the name would probably be cut off at the first illegal character. In the case of a “/”, though, there might be a new folder created.)
You’ll have to substitute characters such as underscore “_” and dash “-” for the illegal ones.
