My brother went through that. His was coke and he slipped up over the years and backslide, but the only thing that helped him was breaking apart and moving away from the people who he was using with. So, maybe your friend can be taken away from her using friends. I think that’s the only thing to help her. I wish you the best as you help her to deal with it. God bless.
perhaps you should just physically take her and take her away to somewhere where she wont be able to find the drug. it helpss to keep away from those friends that did have the same bad habit as you. as soon as u start hanging around with users, u get back into it.

It might take more than 1 time saying something to your friend to talk sense to her. Before users see what hardship addiction is they’re generally in denial of their problem. At some point she’ll be ready to listen for sure.

I was addicted to cocaine for 5 years and Meth for 2 years… I lost everything.I ended up on the Street and was homeless,sleeping at the airport for nearly 4 months. It took my family to move me outta the state for a year to recover from that. You are right,it is a disease, one that I myself was powerless over.

Yes my Godmother is on Meth. She went from 300 pounds down too 145 in two years. She has changed. Even though she lost the weight she looking like she is dead and pale. She says mean things all the time. She pisses people off. I don’t know what too do. She is in denial. She told me I needed meth too because I am a larger woman. That’s very painful people on drugs say things they don’t even think about it comes out and destroys….trust love and everything.

I will pray for your friend and your that you have the strength to stand where she can not. Drugs are a horrible thing to lose your life to. You can only do so much at some point she has to step up for herself. Just be available!
I commend you for speaking out. People aren’t focused on the real issues. A huge change in society is needed. I’m glad there are people who think like you. There may be hope.
Show her this video, watch it with her. Let her know you care, over and over. She’ll either feel too much pressure to change and leave you alone or accept your help and try to get clean. It’s her decision.

Hey dude, I really feel with you. I too have loosing a lot of friends, especially to heroin. Just keep on being their friend, that is the best you can do for them. It`s not possible to help them, before they want to be helped self. But I know from experience, that it is a lot of help in just not turning your back to them
