1 yr old addicted to chewy granola bars?

Question by Lilly’s mommy! is EXPECTING: 1 yr old addicted to chewy granola bars?
The peanut sweet n salty kind… her daddy gave her a bite one day and she was “helping” me put up groceries and found the box and screeched and tore it open and carried them around and begged us to open them and feed them to her (by grunting, pointing and oooing) and doesn’t want to eat anything else. Thoughts?
Peanut allergy not likely —
fuk i hate ignorant a$ $ holes who think they know everything. n no wonder they are from diet n fitness. if u knew anything about me you’d know she gets the healthiest diet available. shyt.
Yeah, I know sweets are fine in moderation along with any “junk” food. But just so everyone knows, this is a typical diet for her:
breakfast–
strawberries
bluberries
whole grain cheerios
or
cheesy egg white omelette with chopped zuchhini, carrots and green pepper
1/8 toasted whole grain bagel
apple slice
breastmilk + nap

snack:
celery
whole grain cracker
some banana

lunch:
3 oz tofu chicken
2 oz cheddar cheese
1/4 slice multi grain bread
breasmilk + np

snack:
2 organic baby carrots
vegtable rice cake

dinner:
3 oz meat (boca burger, steak, chicken etc)
steamed peas, corn, and broccoli
more muti grain bread
4 oz organic soy milk

its not like she gets sweets or processed foods on a daily basis. once a month i make strawberry cupcakes (with wheat flour, shredded zuchhini, squash, and carrots) and i give her soy because it has a ton more vitamins and nutrients…

whats the question? do you want to know if we think its bad for her?

haha- silly. you ask for thoughts and then you get mad when people tell you what they think. Anyway, I think that if a child is doing something excessively, it is the parents responsibility to control it. Children will eat candy and soda all day if you let them, they will scream and cry and throw fits. It is not necessarily bad to give a child a granola bar now and then I dont think, but not every single day or when they wont eat anything else. Thats my “thought” =)
