My Testimony

I spent about 15 years in meth addiction. I was broke, broken and homeless. On July 28th, 2003, an angel dressed in a police uniform arrested me for domestic violence. I had never been to jail before and when the handcuffs went on me I felt as if a ton of bricks had been lifted off of my shoulders. I knew at that moment that the hell I was living was over. July 28th, 2009, I will have 6 years clean (including alcohol). God has his hands on me. I go to treatment centers and speak and I’m really involved with Narcotics Anonymous. I’m giving back what God has given me. I have a home and a family and I’m a father AND daddy to 4 beatiful boys. They tell me I’m an awesome dad! January 6, 2006 I was sitting in my car and had a grand mal seizure. I was diagnosed with epilepsy. No rhyme or reason for it and the seizures only got worse. I didn’t take it serious for 2 1/2 years and finally April of last year I went into Swedish Hospital for testing. I HAD to have surgery. I went through two surgeries. The last was November 11th, 2008. They took out a piece of my temporal lobe the size of an egg and half of my hippocampus. I know that God has a plan for me. This is part of it. I survived active addiction and major surgery. I’ve learned 3 things….I KNOW God loves me. I know that He has a plan for me, and I know that He knows my name. He had His hands on the Police Officer and the surgeon and did His work through their hands I am an addict in recovery. I spent 15 years chasing a high
